Cardio Workout
Cardio workouts increase your heart and breathing rates to pump more oxygen-rich blood to your muscles. Over time, this strengthens your heart, improves your circulatory system's efficiency, lowers your resting heart rate, and enhances your body's ability to use energy and build endurance.
Resistance Workout
Resistance workouts work by using resistance to cause microscopic tears in your muscle fibers. During rest, your body repairs these tears, making the muscle fibers stronger and larger than they were before.
Controlled Breathing
Relaxed breathing leads to physiological changes such as lower blood pressure, a decreased heart rate, and reduced stress hormones, promoting a state of calmness and well-being. By slowing down the breath, you can also improve oxygen-carbon dioxide balance, increase energy levels, and decrease muscle tension and chronic pain.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the practice of focusing on the present moment, which decreases the body's stress response. Helping to manage the physical and emotional effects of stress, leading to lower muscle tension and a greater sense of calm.
Dieting
Dieting works by creating an energy deficit, meaning you consume fewer calories than your body burns. This is achieved by eating less or choosing healthier, lower-calorie foods, which forces the body to use its stored fat for energy.
Nutrition
Quality food and nutrition work by providing the body with the essential nutrients it needs to function, grow, and protect itself from disease. High-quality, nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins fuel your body, support brain function, and maintain systems like the immune system.

Baseline PT Assessments
As no two people are the same, it's important to offer Baseline PT Assessments to our clients. This normally takes no longer than an hour and provides an opportunity to create a safe starting point to build your bespoke wellness programme.

Health Checks
Our professional Health Checks cover basic medical assessments, including Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respiration Rate, Lung Capacity, SpO2, and optional Blood Glucose levels. All information gathered is handled confidentially and used solely for health monitoring and personal performance development. All medical conditions are accepted and will be tailored to personal needs.
Our Support Plans
At Matthew Reeve Fitness, we offer a range of plans to help you to get the support you require, from a gentle "dip your toe" plan at only £14 per week with two supported PT sessions per month to our more intense plans with supported PT sessions up to three times per week.
With additional services available as a bolt on or plan inclusive, we are confident we can find the right fit for you.
